Privacy policy

Driveflow (“we”, “the app”) is a macOS application that helps you download files from your Google Drive account to a destination you choose. This policy explains what we collect and how Google data is handled.

Google user data

When you sign in, Driveflow requests the drive.readonly scope so it can list and download files you select. Access and refresh tokens are stored only on your Mac under Driveflow’s application support folder (session tokens, with a best-effort Keychain mirror, plus an app-private download-engine config). Sign out clears those local stores and stops the engine. We do not operate a Driveflow server that receives or stores your Drive file contents.

The signed Mac build may send your Google account email to our license service after sign-in, solely to verify that you purchased with that address. We do not receive Drive file lists or file bytes for that check.

File contents transfer from Google’s servers to your chosen disk using the bundled download engine running on your Mac. We do not sell Google user data. We do not use Google user data for advertising.

Website analytics

The marketing site may use privacy-respecting analytics (for example PostHog) with opt-in or aggregate page metrics. Analytics on the website are separate from the desktop app’s Drive access.

Purchases

Paid licenses are processed by Stripe. Stripe’s privacy policy governs payment data. We store your purchase email (and a download token) so we can fulfill the download on the post-checkout page and confirm sign-in matches the address you paid with. Download links remain available for reinstalls.
